If Clean Water is No Longer Readily Available...

The basic standard of living for all living things on earth.

Water is life and intake of clean water is the most basic need for all living things on the earth. However, according to the global goals report, by 2030, billions of people will be unable to access clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, unless the efficiency of improvement is quadrupled.

We are Facing: Global Water Scarcity, Environmental Pollution
Due to rapid population growth, development of agriculture, industry, and urbanization, the water demand is increasing. However, the overexploitation and misuse of groundwater, environmental pollution, and climate change have exacerbated the pressure on water resources. Unnecessary illness or death may occur due to chronic water scarcity or lack of clean water.

SDG 6: Improve Water Quality, Wastewater Treatment, and Water Recycled
To address these water issues, the global Sustainable Development Goal Number 6 (aka SDG 6) has been set to improve water quality by reducing water pollution, minimizing the discharge of hazardous chemicals and materials into the ocean, reducing the ratio of untreated wastewater, and increasing recycling to produce new sources of clean water globally.

Things We Can Do: (1) Increase Water-Use Efficiency
Do not overuse water by making sure to turn off the tap when washing dishes, take short showers instead of bathtubs as proven results show that bathtubs need more gallons of water than a 5-10 minutes shower. You can also install smart home water monitoring to detect leaks and track water usage.

Things We Can Do: (2) Organize a Cleanup Campaign for Beaches and Mountains
Actively initiate activities to clean beaches, and clean mountains to reduce environmental pollution to water, soil, etc., and to protect and restore water-related ecosystems under the premise of safety.
